Pert Bruce Construction

Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality

All workers are entitled to work in environments where risks to their health and safety are properly controlled. At Pert Bruce we employ strict health and safety measures to ensure the safety of both our own employees as well as visiting external parties.

All managers are trained through the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) to full health and safety compliance and we hold monthly training meetings to ensure all operatives remain updated to current standards and regulations.

We are members of The Scottish Building Federation and we are also members of the Safety Association of Federated Employers (SAFE) which provides us with a full independent safety team that carry out monthly site inspections, ensuring full compliance with all health and safety regulations – our Managing Director, Craig Bruce, is on the Board of SAFE.

All our operatives carry Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) cards. Our staff are fully trained in good health and safety practice and we comply with HSE’s training requirements of annual training for all staff alongside our site inductions and tool box talks.

We strive to ensure all our sites are safe, not only for our operatives, but also our clients and all of the sub-contractors used are competent and go through our standard sub-contractor vetting procedure.

What our Clients & Partners say…

“I am very pleased that I entrusted this firm with the renovation of my old apartment because I just couldn’t leave the place in such a bad condition. This company has undertaken a whole renovation. It has fully been taken care of the whole job by the team. I was fully satisfied with their job, I think it worth every penny for it.”

Linda

“I have never before been a position where I have felt that the excellent scores I have given above were even pertinent, let alone so well deserved. The personal and immediate attention of the management team, when it was requested/required was excellent and a key to the end result. Performance time and cost parameters were kept – except where they were outwith the company’s control. We have had experiences of other main contractors and PB behaved and performed in a manner, head and shoulders above them.”
